ENG – Sometimes in life we all need a little push. Just ask shy Tim. One afternoon he returns from work to find an anonymous note under his door: Thank you for making my day!

As Tim sets out to discover who wrote the note and why, he enters into the world of Sal and Beatrice, where words can be lost in translation, and where a white lie here and a deception there are worth it when people really care about each other.

Making My Day explores relationships through different generations, reduced mobility and the way cities and their architecture influence how we communicate. In English, italiano and a little français. Born of an idea by Shane Harnett (who also wrote it), this short film is the fruit of the partnership between Teatro Multilingue, Fabiana De Rose Wonderwall Entertainment and Irish writer/producer Shane Harnett.

ITA – A volte nella vita abbiamo solo bisogno di una piccola spinta. Basta chiedere a Tim, un ragazzo timido. Una sera, tornando a casa dopo il lavoro, trova un messaggio anonimo sotto la sua porta: Thank you for making my day!

Tim decide di scoprire chi ha scritto il biglietto e perché. Entra così nel mondo di Sal e Beatrice, dove le parole si perdono fra diverse lingue e dove una piccola bugia può dimostrarsi efficace quando le persone si vogliono veramente bene.

Making My Day esplora le relazioni umane dal punto di vista di diverse generazioni, la mobilità ridotta e come le città e la loro architettura influenzano il nostro modo di comunicare. In English, italiano e un po’ di français. Nato da un’idea di Shane Harnett (che ne è anche l’autore), il corto è il frutto della collaborazione fra Teatro Multilingue, Fabiana De Rose Wonderwall Entertainment e Shane Harnett, scrittore/produttore irlandese.
